Barbara Cheuvront, OTD, OTR/L, IBCLC, has been nominated by parents for providing outstanding and compassionate care to children and families across New Jersey. As a pediatric occupational therapist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Barbara offers a unique, integrated approach to early development by supporting feeding, movement, regulation, and bonding from birth onward. Barbara’s range of expertise includes specialized training in Gillespie Approach Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, Baby Jaws & Breathing (Nose to Toes™) techniques, and Kidding Around Yoga. Barbara is an in-network provider with Cigna (via Wildflower Health), Horizon BCBS commercial and PPO plans, and The Lactation Network (for Aetna and UnitedHealthcare), making her specialized occupational therapy and lactation services accessible to more families across New Jersey.

We used Barbara for our daughter (about a month old) after I noticed she was still tense and we were still having feeding issues even after a tongue tie release. She was super thorough, listened patiently to every concern, was not dismissive of even the most minor symptom, and promptly came up with a plan of action for treatment. Throughout treatment, she explained what she was doing and how to help at home in between appointments. She always followed up and you can tell she genuinely cares about helping her patients (and calming their parents nerves lol). She truly is 5/5 stars amazing and I’d recommend her to everyone!!
